Don't be so Floppy!

When I started working on physical products for the TCW store, a to-do list seemed like the perfect first project. It's a simple, easy-to-use tool, and I already had all the necessary materials at home to craft the notepads.

Open notebook with blue pages and teal lines on a wooden surface. The pages are being flipped, revealing a light and airy setting.

The shape was an instant decision! Floppy disks were a huge part of my childhood. Everyone used them to share files and store information, which is exactly what a notepad is for.

Fun fact: I won my first personal floppy disk in a junior school tech contest. We had to showcase our skills and knowledge of Windows and its tools, such as using Excel formulas and drawing in Paintbrush. I came in third place and received a floppy disk with a magenta sticker as a reward.

So without further ado, I grabbed my laptop and went to draw a sketch of a future notepad. I kept the exact same dimensions as a real floppy disk and even chopped off the angled corner to give it a more realistic look. As a result, you can enjoy the high-quality paper, bright colors, and easily detachable pages in this Floppy Notepad. Hope this little tool will bring back good memories and add fun to your daily tasks.
